Being an MSME in the time of COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic and consequent restrictions to curb its spread have taken a toll on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Philippines. Economic shocks are more evident in the instances of business closures, worker displacement, and interrupted supply chains.

With this situation in mind, UNDP Philippines and PDRF—through the SIKAP MSME Recovery Hub—held this webinar to serve as an opportunity to learn about and understand the impact of supply shocks on and the disturbances that they have caused to the value chains of MSMEs. It also aims to highlight the experiences, behavior, and perceptions of MSMEs as they cope, respond, and adapt to the supply shocks in the value chain.
